Boston Part 1

On August 4 Me, Vanessa, Johanna and Karin went to Wappinger Falls to rent a car. After that the journey to Boston started. I drove there, which took us about 4 hours in our Dodge Neon 2001. (Our car was blue).

When we got there we found a parking lot and parked the car. Then we ate lunch in the harbour. The smell of ocean welcomed us to Boston. After the lunch we started to walk towards the center of Boston  to see the city which we were going to stay in for the weekend.

When we got to Quincy market on the east side of Boston we saw something very typical for Boston, the horse ride. The Quincy market was lively and filled with people. Then we walked on, looking at all the beautiful buildings that Boston is built around.

We also made a visit at the New England Aquarium, where we saw giant sharks, small penguins, a big octopus and a huge turtle that was as big as me.

After the aquarium we saw even more spectacular building. One which looked like Big Ben in London but smaller.

One of the things you have to do when you are in Boston is to take a guided tour. It's pretty cheap and you can learn alot about the history of Boston. Plus, you can rest your legs while listening to the guide.
